In this image you can see the classification of IPv4 addresses. Note that in an IPv4 network, if all bits of the host part are 0, that address indicates the corresponding network, and if all bits of the host part are 1, that is the broadcast address of that network. These two addresses only work in the local network and do not have routing capabilities. Outside the local network, packets with these addresses are discarded by routers.
